Let’s get our hands dirty in the best way possible! This engaging garden session is all about digging deep—into the soil, into discovery, and into joyful, hands-on learning for our youngest nature lovers.
Kids will enjoy sensory bins, open-ended art, and mud kitchen play upon arrival. We will then explore the importance of healthy soil and worms through a story and hands-on observation of real earthworms. On our garden tour, we’ll tend to the soil with a broad forking demonstration, learn about cover cropping, snack on freshly harvested goodies, and compost what’s left.
To wrap up, we’ll create a garden- and worm-inspired take-home item to continue the learning at home, and enjoy a refreshing garden-created beverage to cool down from all the hard work!
This session blends curiosity, creativity, and connection to the earth—giving your little one a meaningful start to garden-based exploration.
