This visit is an opportunity for your child to experience our nature- and community-based learning environment while we get to know them in a gentle, supportive setting.
Prospective learners will join our current students for a 2-hour portion of the day, participating in elements of our rhythm such as:
This allows children to experience the flow of our program and a routine to look forward to as well as familiar faces to re-engage with on the first day, while also giving teachers the opportunity to observe how they engage within the group.
We approach this process as a mutual fit experience.
This step is not intended to make our program exclusive, but rather to help us be as inclusive as possible by ensuring each child is supported in a way that allows them to truly thrive within our setting.

The next visitor days are scheduled as follows:
Tuesday, May 5th
- Applicant Seedlings 9:15-11:15
- Applicant Saplings 12:30-2:30
Please note that visit days are intentionally limited to match our availabile enrollment openings. Therefore, the application fee associated with the Visitor Day sign-up will not be collected should we not be able to offer your child a spot.
The visit day fee supports administrative time for phone interviews/tours and additional teaching staff needed to thoughtfully host these visits.
Child 1: $50
Child 2: $25
Child 3 and more: FREE
Below will tell you which class to select based on what age your child WILL be on September 1st.
🌱 Seedlings (3-4 years old)
🌿 Saplings (5-9 years old)
🌳 Oaks (10-15 years old)
Following the visit, we will connect with families via email to share whether the program feels like a good fit as a drop-off experience, if additional support (such as a caregiver presence) may help ensure success, or if it is not a fit at this time.
Our goal is to ensure that each child feels safe, supported, and successful, while also maintaining a balanced and nurturing environment for the group as a whole.
